Diabetes is a metabolic malfunction, caused due to the increased blood glucose level in the blood. In type 1 diabetes, the insulin is not produced as per requirement or no insulin is produced in order to convert the blood glucose level into energy. However, Type 2 diabetes is where insulin is produced as per requirement, but the cells are damaged and they are not able to accept the insulin, to convert the blood glucose, resulting in a high blood glucose level.

This diabetic condition can be rectified, when treated at the right time. The individuals who are having diabetes are given medications that need to be followed as per prescription or some may need insulin injections, during the start of the day. Due to this continuous intake of medicines, a diabetic patient should not skip a meal in a day. If he or she skips a meal, then they may feel dizzy and tired, due to decreased blood glucose level. They should always maintain a healthy diet for their meal which includes all the supplementary like proteins, vitamins, minerals, etc.

Even though, a person ought to take three meals per day, breakfast consumed during the morning time is considered to be the most essential meal of the day.
